System requirements

Successful Marina can be hosted locally (on your own premises, on your own Windows server), or on the Cloud (on the Cloud servers of Successful Software): for more information about these two options, please click here.
In case you prefer to host Successful Marina locally (on your own premises - own server), it requires the following hardware and software:

Successful Marina Client (workstation) minimum system requirements:

  • Intel CPU Core i3 / 3.60 GHz (CPU Core i5 and above is recommended)
  • 4 GB RAM DDR3 (6 GB RAM DRR3 is recommended)
  • 5 GB free hard disk space (SSD disk recommended)
  • Colour Monitor with at least 1600x 1200 resolution
  • 1 (or more) Laser or InkeJet printers (for invoicing and reports)
  • Optical wheel mouse (to zoom in-zoom out the Visual Management plan of your business premises)
  • Internet Connection (at least 2 Mbps connection is required)
  • Windows Vista Business (32bit or 64bit)/7 Professional (32bit or 64bit) (recommended)/8.1 Professional (32bit or 64bit)/10 Professional (64bit)

Successful Marina Server minimum system requirements:

  • Xeon Quad Core 3,2 GHz (1 CPU)
  • 8 GB RAM
  • 50 GB free hard disk space (SSD disk is recommended. In case you want to use HDD, please make sure that it operates in 7200 rpm or more)
  • Colour Monitor with at least 1600 x 1200 resolution
  • Mouse
  • Internet Connection (2 Mbps for technical support)
  • Antivirus & Firewall
  • Online UPS
  • Windows Server 2012 R2 64bit Standard Edition (or any other Edition higher than this)

Note: the above Server has to be a physical machine (not a Virtual Machine) that will be dedicated for the operation of the Successful Marina Server only. If you plan to deploy your Server on a Virtual Machine (VM) then we strongly advice you to get a faster CPU and at least twice the GB of RAM described above. These minimum hardware requirements assume that the Server will only host the Successful Marina Server and its Data Base: not host (as a Terminal Server, Remote Desktop Gateway, etc) Client Machines (Workstations) of the Successful Marina or any other application.

Successful Marina Tablet minimum system requirements:

Successful Marina Tablet can be utilized by mobile workers that, usually, are not working in an office. In case you have Successful Marina Cloud, the devices (tablets, computers, laptops) must be connected to the Internet via a reliable, high speed Internet connection (4G+ and above) because Successful Marina Cloud requires an HTML 5 capable web browser (like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Safari, Opera, etc). Click here to watch a video on how Successful Marina Cloud works on an internet connected device (e.g. a tablet).
